Mark Reckless was appointed to the KPA following his election as a Medway Councillor, representing Rochester West, in May 2007. Mark has twice stood as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Medway, coming within 213 votes of being elected as MP in 2005.
Mark graduated in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University and has an MBA from Columbia Business School. More recently he has trained as a barrister, gaining an LLB from the College of Law and being called to the Bar in 2007 before joining a leading firm of City Solicitors.
Previously Mark was UK Economist for the investment bank Warburgs. He has also worked for the Conservative Party Policy Unit, where he developed new policies for tackling youth crime and police governance.
