Elaine was appointed to the KPA as an independent member in April 2007. Elaine grew up in South West London and has lived in Kent for the last 17 years.

She started work as a management trainee for a major electricity supply company and specialised in training and development and went on to work as a training and development manager in local government for 18 years.

In 2006 Elaine set up her own company specialising in people and organisational development in the public, private and voluntary sectors. This involves working in the South and South East of England.
